Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Rotating & Static Equipment Superintendent to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment for ammonia production in a facility in Israel. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards while coordinating with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of rotating and static equipment, including compressors, pumps, turbines, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and piping systems.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Oversee quality control and safety compliance in mechanical installations.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and performance evaluations of equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to site engineers and construction teams.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot mechanical failures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including API, ASME, and ISO regulations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical supervision within industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical plant projects.
• Strong expertise in rotating (pumps, compressors, turbines) and static (heat exchangers, vessels, piping) equipment.
• Experience working on EPC projects and large-scale industrial plants.
• Knowledge of international engineering standards (API, ASME, ISO).
• Proficiency in construction supervision, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
