Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Piping Supervisor to oversee the piping erection and assembly for WTP & Auxiliary Systems within technological areas such as CCM/SCM/TSC and WTP. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in piping systems and supervision, ensuring all work meets contract obligations and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate piping erection, assembly, and inspection activities.
• Interpret piping drawings, process flow sheets, and instrumentation drawings.
• Execute piping sketching and routing as per design requirements.
• Oversee piping welding procedures (black and stainless steel piping).
• Manage and inspect socket weld, butt welding, and bending processes.
• Implement hydraulic piping flushing procedures and preparation.
• Conduct water piping flushing and passivation procedures.
• Supervise gas piping cleaning, flushing, and pressure testing preparation.
• Ensure as-built drawings are correctly marked up for final documentation.
• Identify and report non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee punch list management and ensure finalization.
• Evaluate work progress and implement recovery actions if needed.
• Promote a teamwork-oriented environment with a focus on target achievement.
Requirements:
• Education: University degree (or diploma with extensive field experience)
• Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of piping drawings, welding procedures, and erection techniques
o Hands-on experience with hydraulic, water, and gas piping systems
o Ability to handle flushing, passivation, and pressure testing procedures
o Proficient in non-conformity management and punch list finalization
• Soft Skills:
o Strong leadership and team management skills
o Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
o Ability to work under tight schedules while maintaining quality standards
• Other Requirements:
o Good proficiency in English
o Knowledge of office computer systems
o Willingness to travel as required
