Job Title: Instrumentation Superintendent

Job Summary
We are seeking an Instrumentation Superintendent to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems for ammonia production in a facility in Israel. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards while coordinating with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems, including field instruments, analyzers, control valves, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Oversee quality control and safety compliance in instrumentation installations.
  • Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and performance evaluations of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to site engineers and construction teams.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure optimal functionality of control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including IEC, ISA, and ISO regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in instrumentation supervision within industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical plant projects.
  • Strong expertise in field instrumentation, process control systems, PLC/DCS/SCADA, and industrial automation.
  • Experience working on EPC projects and large-scale industrial plants.
  • Knowledge of international engineering standards (IEC, ISA, ISO).
  • Proficiency in construction supervision, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation systems.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
