Job Summary
We are seeking an Instrumentation Superintendent to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems for ammonia production in a facility in Israel. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards while coordinating with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems, including field instruments, analyzers, control valves, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
- Oversee quality control and safety compliance in instrumentation installations.
- Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and performance evaluations of instrumentation and control systems.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to site engineers and construction teams.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure optimal functionality of control systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including IEC, ISA, and ISO regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in instrumentation supervision within industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical plant projects.
- Strong expertise in field instrumentation, process control systems, PLC/DCS/SCADA, and industrial automation.
- Experience working on EPC projects and large-scale industrial plants.
- Knowledge of international engineering standards (IEC, ISA, ISO).
- Proficiency in construction supervision, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation systems.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
