
Position: Field Electrical Engineer

The Field Electrical Engineer will support Danieli in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for an industrial project in Salzgitter. The role includes supervising electrical erection works, ensuring technical compliance, supporting commissioning phases, coordinating with subcontractors, and reporting progress to Danieli Site Management.
Supervise electrical installation and cabling activities
Verify compliance with electrical drawings, specifications, and standards
Support commissioning and testing of equipment and electrical systems
Monitor subcontractors’ activities, manpower, and progress
Troubleshoot electrical issues and propose corrective actions
Ensure safe execution of electrical works in coordination with HSE teams
Prepare daily reports and update site documentation
Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and commissioning teams
Strong experience with electrical installation and commissioning on industrial sites
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings (SLDs, wiring diagrams, layouts)
Experience in steel plants, heavy industry, or EPC projects (preferred)
Knowledge of European electrical standards
Good communication and supervision skills
Availability for extended work shifts (10×6)
English required; German is an advantage
