Senior Control and Instrument Engineer
Castel Maggiore (Bologna), Emilia Romagna• Execution of instrumental documentation (Instrument List, Instrument datasheets, Instrument hook-up)
• Execution of the plant electro-instrumental documentation (junction boxes, wiring list, wiring diagram)
• Execution of control documentation/automation (architecture of the control system, logic diagram, I/O list, loop diagram, cause/effects
• Collaboration with the process sector for the execution of P&I diagram
• Collaboration with the mechanical sector for the execution of the plant electro-instrumental layout
• Supervision to the eventual supplier’s documentation (related to a.m. items) in accordance with the project specifications • Follow-up and revision of documentation according to customer’s comments
• Participation in the meetings with the customer (Design review, Hazop Meeting, etc.)
• Issue of technical specifications for the purchase of instrumentation and of electro-instrumental / automation system (on skid electrical control plant + control system – PLC/MMS/DCS)
• Technical alignment of sub-suppliers offers for the components and systems specified in the above item
• Supervision to electrical / instrumental erection in the workshop (GEA or subcontractor)
• Collaboration with the departments working on contract in various phases: technical department, sales department, documentation office, etc.
• “Mentoring” activities with Junior Instrument Engineer
Education and Experience: Engineering degree, Instrumental / Automation address 5-7 years of experience in a technical office as Instrument Engineer Deep knowledge of international standards (IEC,ATEX,NEMA,NEC,etc.)
Experience in managing the design according to the technical design specifications
Computer skills: Microsoft Office software, CAD applications
Languages: English. The knowledge of English language is essential for the preparation of documents, the reading, the interpretation of project technical specifications and the communication with suppliers/customers.
Business trips: both in Italy and abroad.
